Dr. Kyra Dorgeloh, O.D.
Dr. Kyra Dorgeloh received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before earning her Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York College of Optometry (SUNY). She completed a residency in ocular disease at the State University of New York.
She relocated to Richmond in 2020 and joined the Nilsen Eye Care team after working for the VCU Department of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Dorgeloh is passionate about preventative eye care and meeting all your eye care needs – from routine care to treatment of eye emergencies and ocular diseases. Residing in Richmond with her husband Erik, their son, two dogs, and one cat, Dr. Dorgeloh enjoys hiking, baking, and throwing pottery.
